Gapless, a Berlin-based blockchain startup, has received €5.5 million ($6m) seed financing round, led by a top blockchain developer’s investment vehicle.
The FinLab EOS VC Fund, a joint project from FinLab and developer Block.one, helmed the deal with Gapless, which is building what it claims to be “the world’s first blockchain platform for car management.”
The startup, founded in the German capital in 2018, allows users to create digital profiles of their vehicles including documents, photos and a smart-calendar. It offers full vehicle history reports and swift access to changing car market values.
“With the FinLab EOS VC Fund, in partnership with Block. One venture arm EOS VC, we have found our partner of choice for the further development of our young company,” said Gapless CEO Jan Karnath.
