IdentityMind Global, a Palo Alto, CA-based software firm that managed digital identities, has won a $10 million funding round, which it will use to tap into global markets.
The company, founded in 2013 by Garrett Gafke, a multiple-times tech executive, proofs and monitors online identities to ensure security across a variety of online financial transactions. Its current investment round brings current funding of IdentityMind Global to $20.3m.
This week’s round, led by Benhamou Global Ventures and Eastern Link Capital, will allow Gafke and co to focus on expansion into international markets including Asia, Europe and Latin America. It will also fuel a new business unit aimed at the initial coin offering (ICO) and cryptocurrency industries.
