Digital medicine company Proteus Digital Health has secured $50 million in Series H financing. The company’s offerings include drugs that communicate when they’ve been taken, wearable sensors and applications and data analytics for health systems. Investors in the round were not disclosed. “This financing demonstrates confidence in our Digital Medicine platform and deliberate, staged approach to market building,” said Andrew Thompson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Proteus Digital Health in a press release. “We are at the forefront of the digital transformation of healthcare, and are excited to work with our customers, partners and investors to help lead the way.”
Insightly, an online customer relationship management application for small and growing businesses, has raised $25 million in a Series C financing round. The round was led by Scott Bommer, a former founder of SAB Capital, with participation from existing investors Emergence Capital Partners, Cloud Apps Capital Partners and Sozo Ventures. Insightly has now raised more than $40 million in total and will use the latest funds to expand into larger businesses and build up its direct sales team. “Insightly is leading the CRM for small and mid-sized businesses, and this latest round of financing will allow the company to accelerate its growth and expand its market leadership position within the space,” said Scott Bommer. “I was attracted to Insightly’s compelling product offering and strong market position, and its opportunity for future growth. Similar to online accounting software, Xero, and project management software, Atlassian, Insightly is at the forefront of defining cloud-based capabilities for SMBs globally.”
Ninja Logistics, a provider of last mile logistics in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, has raised $30 million led by Abraaj Group. Current investor Monk’s Hill Ventures and new investors B Capital Group and YJ Capital participated. The company will use the new funds to expand into new markets, including Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
