At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this January, Logitech unveiled The Cube, a new mouse-like device that doubles as a presentation tool.
Swipe your fingers along the main panel’s ridges to work the device like a mouse. To present, simply lift the device in the air and click to the next presentation slide. Back clicking is as simple as turning the mouse over in your hand and clicking again. The device easily fits into a pocket with a simple on off switch to protect the battery.
The device also comes with a small Logitech Unifying Receiver, which connects to the computer wirelessly, and stays connected when you move around. Six different devices can be connected to the computer with receiver without needing to plug in additional USB drivers.
Stamped with a $69.99 price tag, the Cube will be available in the US and Europe by the end of the month.
The company also unveiled a full high definition webcam for 1080p video calls. Working with Skype in 1080p or with Windows Live Messenger in 720p HD, the camera utilizes H.264 compression for easy uploading of full-HD video clips or 15 megapixel photos to Facebook, Twitter or YouTube in a single click. For $99.99, the camera will be available in the US and Europe.
