Personal Capital, a digital wealth management company, has raised $50 million Series D funding led by Corsair Capital. BBVA Ventures and USAA also participated in the round, as did existing investors IVP, Venrock and Crosslink. Personal Capital offers personal finance apps to over 600,000 American families, according to a press release. “We’re leading the transformation of financial services from physical to virtual delivery,” said CEO Bill Harris. “This infusion will help accelerate our already-rapid growth – we’ve seen revenue increases of 10% or more each month for the past seven quarters.”

Online ticketing company ScoreBig.com has raised $18 million in new funding, in a round led by Hearst Ventures. “ScoreBig is built on the belief that both the price conscious consumer and the industry can win,” said George Kliavkoff, co-president, Hearst Entertainment & Syndication, and president of Hearst Ventures. “The team at ScoreBig has developed a solution to two of the biggest challenges facing the live entertainment industry: making live events more affordable for price conscious consumers, and increasing live event attendance.” The company will use the funds to expand its product offerings and further strategic partnerships.
Toy and crafting company Seedling has merged with e-commerce firm P.S. XO, and raised $7 million in funding from Upfront Ventures and Greycroft Partners. The new entity will be known as Seedling and expects to soon cross the $10 million in sales mark, according to a press release. “Merging Seedling and P.S. XO was an absolute no-brainer for us,” says Mark Suster, Partner at Upfront Ventures. “The toy and crafting markets are an $83 billion dollar market globally, and the power of Seedling’s well-known products plus P.S. XO’s e-commerce capabilities was a marriage made in heaven.”
Peraso Technologies, wireless gigabit chipsets, has closed a $20 million funding round. Roadmap Capital led the round, with participation coming from existing investors Celtic House Venture Partners, Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund (OETF) and VentureLink Funds. “We are excited to welcome Roadmap Capital as a new investor,” said Ron Glibbery, President and CEO of Peraso. “Peraso has established itself as a leader in WiGig chipsets. With this equity funding we are accelerating the full commercial deployment of our existing silicon and the development of our next generation of phased array products.”
