Last month, Nintendo announced Demo
Play, which would help gamers who were stuck by either displaying
a video walkthrough or taking over control of the game.
The first game announced that will use
this feature was New Super Mario Bros Wii, the four-player co-op
Mario game. No other Demo Play-compatible titles have been announced,
though the company has stated its intent to support other titles.
Now, Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai
Shimbun has revealed that Nintendo is looking beyond the Wii and at
the DS as well. Although no details on titles or implementation has
been revealed, the company does plan on mostly utilizing the feature
on high speed action games.
New Super Mario Bros Wii will release
in the holiday season.
